In the 27th match minute, Chepstow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cas Beckett to maneuver through the defense. Iddawg Buchan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cas Heraghty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garnock Allen having to interfere. If Trent Duckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Chepstow 's goalkeeper Garnock Allen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cas Heraghty. In the 44th minute of the match Siam Clifton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bellieus Gilliland skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trent Duckett made a kick off. Govannon Button sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Swansea United FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Garnock Allen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cas Heraghty's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 84th match minute, Chepstow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robat Bryant to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cas Heraghty in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garnock Allen saved Chepstow from getting behind.
