The referee ignored Llandudno's protests and gave Clust Healy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cardiff FC booed when Llandudno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clust Healy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cadwaladr Canada got free with Griflet Gibbons in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caerwyn Hick kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Prydwen Foltz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maddox Head having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Prydwen Foltz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llandudno's supporters rose to their feet, but Prydwen Foltz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maddox Head breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 18 played minutes Cardiff FC got a freekick which was hit by Kynwal Gillman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prydwen Foltz in the 29th minute of play forced Cardiff FC's goalkeeper Maddox Head to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cardiff FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Govan Loughnane hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prydwen Foltz in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maddox Head prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Llandudno's Dalldav Boryla got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff FC's zone, Prydwen Foltz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maddox Head came out of the goal and Prydwen Foltz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Prydwen Foltz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llandudno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prydwen Foltz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Seith Attwood made the kick off in the second half. Prydwen Foltz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Maddox Head made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Prydwen Foltz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Seith Attwood came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Cardiff FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seith Attwood couldn't finish the play. Dalldav Boryla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevyn Peruker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Dalldav Boryla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llandudno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalldav Boryla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prydwen Foltz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Maddox Head tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalldav Boryla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maddox Head having to interfere. Seith Attwood struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Griflet Gibbons didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardiff FC. If Govan Loughnane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Govan Loughnane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prydwen Foltz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llandudno were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
