The supporters of UWA Cardiff booed when Swansea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meical Fry didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Swansea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amaethon Cribban came free, but Tringad Foote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cadfan Huckaby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tringad Foote having to interfere. In the 11th minute Amaethon Cribban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tringad Foote saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cadfan Huckaby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tringad Foote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ysberin Erwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Llyn Flannery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Ysberin Erwin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Swansea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ysberin Erwin couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Swansea FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kent Manciple hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, Swansea FC's Ysberin Erwin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llyn Flannery was left in no man's land by his defense there! Swansea FC's Kent Manciple got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. UWA Cardiff's Amaethon Cribban got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Cadfan Huckaby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Cardiff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadfan Huckaby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Tringad Foote took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cadfan Huckaby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute Amaethon Cribban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tringad Foote saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, UWA Cardiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ifor Dineen to maneuver through the defense. Tringad Foote showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaethon Cribban, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Tringad Foote made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilydd Hussey in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Swansea FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kent Manciple hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rhun Hill in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llyn Flannery saved UWA Cardiff from getting behind. The Swansea FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
