Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Medyr Hazel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Knighton got a freekick which was hit by Edern Devany. In the 7th minute, Cadwallen Hooper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berth Crawford scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gareth Gibb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anwar Canning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Medyr Hazel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medyr Hazel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwar Canning having to interfere. Teryrnon Holloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teryrnon Holloway could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Anwar Canning made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berth Crawford in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gareth Gibb saved Knighton from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arian Bailie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Edern Devany shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anwar Canning showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Anwar Canning came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Knighton's Medyr Hazel. But to his dismay, Medyr Hazel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 65th minute, Medyr Hazel made a precise shot to the right of Anwar Canning. Penarth FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Knighton's Teryrnon Holloway got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gareth Gibb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arian Bailie, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Digon Culleen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Knighton's goalkeeper Gareth Gibb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berth Crawford. In the 82nd minute, Drych Lederer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th match minute, Penarth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drych Lederer to maneuver through the defense. Anwar Canning stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teryrnon Holloway's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Teryrnon Holloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Anwar Canning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Penarth FC's zone, Teryrnon Holloway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anwar Canning came out of the goal and Teryrnon Holloway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Penarth FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Knighton.
