The UWA Penarth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute, Kane Golding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UWA Penarth's Kenyon Spurrer got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Selyf Ing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UWA Penarth's Griffith Drummond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berth Brisbane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inek Halliday having to interfere. Griffith Drummond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selyf Ing in the 31st minute of the match. Pembroke Kimball received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Griffith Drummond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the UWA Penarth defense, Pembroke Kimball kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Griffith Drummond. The UWA Penarth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Griffith Drummond should have stopped the shot. Pembroke Kimball fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Griffith Drummond having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Selyf Ing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenyon Spurrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inek Halliday having to interfere. If Selyf Ing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selyf Ing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Griffith Drummond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Berth Brisbane made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Pembroke Kimball got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 55 played minutes UWA Penarth got a freekick which was hit by Ector Cohen. The supporters of Rhonnda booed when UWA Penarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cas Gardner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UWA Penarth's zone, Pembroke Kimball stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Griffith Drummond came out of the goal and Pembroke Kimball tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ector Cohen kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Pembroke Kimball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Penarth's Berth Brisbane got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inek Halliday showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenyon Spurrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Cas Gardner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenyon Spurrer during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to UWA Penarth getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kenyon Spurrer hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Selyf Ing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Griffith Drummond. That made the score 2-2 in the 83 minute of play. Griffith Drummond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selyf Ing in the 88th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
