Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madawg Edwards in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lot Dawson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute, Llyr Waiter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lot Dawson came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Neath's Dillus Ingersoll. But to his dismay, Dillus Ingersoll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. El Chueco's Lot Dawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dillus Ingersoll in the 10th minute of play. Lot Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillus Ingersoll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Cadwallen Faircloth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Neath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Chueco the free kick. In the 20th minute, Cadwallen Faircloth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 22 in the game by Anwir Puddler from a close distance when the talented Llwydeu Keely managed to make a qualified save. UWA Neath's players were relieved. In the 22nd match minute, UWA Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Chaney to maneuver through the defense. Anwir Puddler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Llwydeu Keely having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, UWA Neath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ithel Gilboy to maneuver through the defense. El Chueco's attack was well implemented in the 30th minute, but when Anwir Puddler was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Madawg Edwards managed to get in a good position for a shot. UWA Neath's supporters rose to their feet, but Madawg Edwards was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lot Dawson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraint Larkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llwydeu Keely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anwir Puddler in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Llwydeu Keely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anwir Puddler, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Ithel Gilboy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UWA Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ithel Gilboy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Chueco's goalkeeper Lot Dawson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, El Chueco's goal looked a bit too open when Dillus Ingersoll came free, but Lot Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Geraint Larkin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llwydeu Keely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Madawg Edwards took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Lot Dawson to make any attempt to save it. If Madawg Edwards had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Ithel Gilboy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UWA Neath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Chueco the free kick. Lot Dawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dillus Ingersoll received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lot Dawson came out and tried to block the shot, but Dillus Ingersoll slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 89th minute. The El Chueco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching UWA Neath's performance. The match ended with a win for UWA Neath.
