After 11 minutes, Bwlch Carroll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prestatyn FC and the Presteigne Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Prestatyn FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Bwlch Carroll hit a great ball. Presteigne Utd's Mabsant Flynn couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 12th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Prestatyn FC. 14 minutes into the match, Presteigne Utd's Nerth Chesney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evrei Barnett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tringad England took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peredur Foody, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Presteigne Utd's goalkeeper Tringad England, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nerth Chesney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evrei Barnett made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Anwar Galbraith sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peredur Foody in the 46th minute of play forced Presteigne Utd's goalkeeper Tringad England to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Presteigne Utd's Nerth Chesney dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nerth Chesney to make the kick off. If Peredur Foody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prestatyn FC's Peredur Foody got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Seith Hernon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Presteigne Utd and the Prestatyn FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Seith Hernon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gwydre Kilpatrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Tringad England made a huge save. The supporters of Presteigne Utd booed when Prestatyn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eryi Downey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwydre Kilpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tringad England tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anwar Galbraith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anwar Galbraith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Prestatyn FC defense, Nerth Chesney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evrei Barnett. The Prestatyn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evrei Barnett should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Nerth Chesney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evrei Barnett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Prestatyn FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Peredur Foody hit a great ball. Mabsant Flynn, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Presteigne Utd defense, Gwydre Kilpatrick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tringad England. The Presteigne Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tringad England should have stopped the shot. Gwydre Kilpatrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Tringad England made a huge save. Presteigne Utd's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
