Cadwallen Jeeves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ysgawyn Faherty. Wales FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wales FC's zone, Myrddin Diamond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysgawyn Faherty came out of the goal and Myrddin Diamond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Medyr Caine elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Prestatyn's Myrddin Diamond got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Medyr Caine took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysgawyn Faherty. Ysgawyn Faherty dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ysgawyn Faherty stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Medyr Caine's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Ysgawyn Faherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medyr Caine in the 26th minute of the match. Ysgawyn Faherty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ifor Farrelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Medyr Caine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wales FC's Ysgawyn Faherty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Prestatyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwallawg Quarrier to maneuver through the defense. Sulien Cockane blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Merlin Hamilton having to make a save. After 33 played minutes Prestatyn got a freekick which was hit by Tad Essig. With a little luck, Prestatyn's Merlin Hamilton got control of the ball when Seith Frampton tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Wales FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Anwar Howe hit a great ball. Myrddin Diamond's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysgawyn Faherty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Prestatyn's Myrddin Diamond made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ysgawyn Faherty was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Prestatyn were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Myrddin Diamond stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Prestatyn getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cadwallen Jeeves hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Myrddin Diamond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prestatyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Myrddin Diamond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ysgawyn Faherty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prestatyn's Myrddin Diamond got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Wales FC got a freekick which was hit by Aberthol Laurence. Myrddin Diamond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Medyr Caine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prestatyn's Vaughn Ive suffered a sore thigh after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bercelak Jamison's late challenge caught a Prestatyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bercelak Jamison helped the player get up and apologised. Bercelak Jamison hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Medyr Caine got free with Ysgawyn Faherty in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adwr Crocker hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Wales FC's Seith Frampton got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Medyr Caine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ysgawyn Faherty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Medyr Caine took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysgawyn Faherty. Ysgawyn Faherty dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Ysgawyn Faherty made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Medyr Caine sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Prestatyn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Wales FC throughout the match.
