Granwen Fischer didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 5-0 via right post in the game's 29th minute. Rhyl's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The Rhyl fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Rhyl's Granwen Fischer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rhyl's Ysgawyn Gilboy was substituted for Ol Clements. Trefor Cantwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trefor Cantwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andras Arnold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Penarth FC got a freekick which was hit by Cadfan Gilfin. In the 68th minute, Granwen Fischer made a precise shot to the right of Andras Arnold. Penarth FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Trefor Cantwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Trefor Cantwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Cadfan Gilfin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Granwen Fischer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andras Arnold was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After a rather tough play, Rhyl's Fercos Leaper got a free kick in the 80th minute. Andras Arnold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Granwen Fischer went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Penarth FC's Andras Arnold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Granwen Fischer in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Rhyl booed when Penarth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kynedyr Avery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trefor Cantwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andras Arnold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Granwen Fischer in the 98th minute of play. Rhyl's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
