Neath's Teithi Ironside got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Neath's Teithi Ironside sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maelgwn Hatch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Neath's Idris Luce got control of the ball when Andras Gilfoyle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Teithi Ironside managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teithi Ironside was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ren Essig in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maelgwn Hatch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Haverfordwest FC's Andras Gilfoyle got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Siarl Laurence's late challenge caught a Haverfordwest FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siarl Laurence helped the player get up and apologised. Siarl Laurence kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Siarl Laurence took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maelgwn Hatch. Maelgwn Hatch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Teithi Ironside sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ren Essig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maelgwn Hatch was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teithi Ironside in the 35th minute of play forced Haverfordwest FC's goalkeeper Maelgwn Hatch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teithi Ironside blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maelgwn Hatch having to make a save. Ren Essig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Haverfordwest FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neath were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teithi Ironside to strike the kick off in the second half. Idris Luce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andras Gilfoyle's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Haverfordwest FC's zone, Siarl Laurence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maelgwn Hatch came out of the goal and Siarl Laurence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfri Ironside in the 58th minute of play forced Neath's goalkeeper Idris Luce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siarl Laurence got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 59th minute, Siarl Laurence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Anfri Ironside came free, but Idris Luce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haverfordwest FC's Maelgwn Hatch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Haverfordwest FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Andras Gilfoyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idris Luce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andras Gilfoyle scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Idris Luce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Idris Luce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Accalon Elliot went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Syvwlch Lovat in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Neath's Gruffen Maltster. Gruffen Maltster succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 77th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Teithi Ironside kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maelgwn Hatch. That made the score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. If Ren Essig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ren Essig's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Maelgwn Hatch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Andras Gilfoyle kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Haverfordwest FC booed when Neath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teithi Ironside didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ren Essig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maelgwn Hatch having to interfere. When the match was over Neath could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Haverfordwest FC throughout the match.
