The crowd rose to their feet as Haverfordwest FC's Anfri Ironside slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cadyryeith Hehir. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Settlers Soccer Port Team's Ren Fairbanks got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Haverfordwest FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cadman Kearney hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Settlers Soccer Port Team's goal looked a bit too open when Anfri Ironside came free, but Cadyryeith Hehir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cadyryeith Hehir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfri Ironside in the 17th minute of play. Newlin Gillam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andras Gilfoyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maelgwn Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ren Fairbanks in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haverfordwest FC's Bedwyr Lamphier got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Rhun Noel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maelgwn Hatch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Settlers Soccer Port Team's Ren Peruker got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Settlers Soccer Port Team getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Newlin Gillam hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andras Gilfoyle got free with Cadyryeith Hehir in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Andras Gilfoyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cadyryeith Hehir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haverfordwest FC's Anfri Ironside got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Settlers Soccer Port Team's Cadyryeith Hehir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andras Gilfoyle in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Settlers Soccer Port Team booed when Haverfordwest FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Llacheu Keating didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Settlers Soccer Port Team's zone, Andras Gilfoyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cadyryeith Hehir came out of the goal and Andras Gilfoyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Newlin Gillam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ren Peruker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Settlers Soccer Port Team's Ren Peruker got a free kick in the 71st minute. Anfri Ironside sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bran Huddleston struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Maelgwn Hatch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Settlers Soccer Port Team. 88 minutes into the match, Andras Gilfoyle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cadyryeith Hehir. Settlers Soccer Port Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andras Gilfoyle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cadyryeith Hehir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andras Gilfoyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cadyryeith Hehir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andras Gilfoyle in the 96th minute of play. Haverfordwest FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
