After 15 played minutes Neath got a freekick which was hit by Anwar Gaoler. 16 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Sulyen Bauer came free, but Idris Luce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Pending United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rhyd Bethel. After having played for 23 minutes, Ren Essig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ren Essig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Pending United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teithi Ironside came free, but Clyde Eccles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rhyd Bethel fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pending United F.C.'s protests and gave Rhyd Bethel a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Pending United F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rhyd Bethel. In the 26th minute, Teithi Ironside got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Neath's goal looked a bit too open when Sulyen Bauer came free, but Idris Luce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teithi Ironside sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Sulyen Bauer made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Teithi Ironside sped through Pending United F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clyde Eccles. Teithi Ironside received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Clyde Eccles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teithi Ironside fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Eccles having to interfere. Ren Essig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clyde Eccles having to make a save. Melkin Clewes charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melkin Clewes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pending United F.C.'s Melkin Clewes got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Neath's goalkeeper Idris Luce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cynan Keeney. 72 minutes into the match, Pending United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teithi Ironside came free, but Clyde Eccles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Ren Essig made a precise shot to the right of Clyde Eccles. Pending United F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Melkin Clewes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th minute, Melkin Clewes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Neath's Siarl Laurence got a free kick in the 80th minute. Idris Luce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cynan Keeney in the 81st minute. A collision led to Pending United F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Neath fully deserved thier win.
