The tension between the UWA Haverfordwest and the Neath players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, UWA Haverfordwest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmyg Dacre to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Neath's Timotheus Burrows broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UWA Haverfordwest! A collision led to UWA Haverfordwest getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tremayne Inge hit a great ball. The Neath fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Neath's Ieuan Lynch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gruffen Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neath's Ieuan Lynch got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gruffen Little in the 30th minute of play forced UWA Haverfordwest's goalkeeper Dillan Large to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 34th minute when Gruffen Little elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ieuan Lynch in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dillan Large prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, UWA Haverfordwest's goal looked a bit too open when Gruffen Little came free, but Dillan Large reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guinglain Tipstaff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gruffen Little made a kick off. Dillan Large made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gruffen Little in the 52nd minute of play. Ieuan Lynch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dillan Large having to interfere. Gruffen Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, UWA Haverfordwest's Brastias Epps got a free kick in the 58th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in UWA Haverfordwest fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Dillan Large showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gruffen Little in the 81st minute of the match. Neath's Gruffen Little got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, UWA Haverfordwest's goalkeeper Dillan Large had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ieuan Lynch. A hard shot 96 in the game by Ieuan Lynch from a close distance when the talented Dillan Large managed to make a qualified save. UWA Haverfordwest's players were relieved. When the match was over Neath could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than UWA Haverfordwest throughout the match.
