UWA Talgarth's Brian Eliss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maelwys Cockwell in the 7th minute of play. Brian Eliss made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Kai Galligan sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Neath FC were awarded a corner. Taffy Follet went to the cornerflag to take it. Kai Galligan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brian Eliss firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Parry Burdick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UWA Talgarth's Gwyr Henley got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper Brian Eliss, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brian Eliss made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kai Galligan sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Merlin Catley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Parry Burdick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Brian Eliss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parry Burdick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kai Galligan struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Brian Eliss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neath FC. In the 61st minute, Kai Galligan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Kai Galligan made a precise shot to the right of Brian Eliss. UWA Talgarth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 68th minute, Parry Burdick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neath FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kai Galligan in the 71st minute of play forced UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper Brian Eliss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Neath FC's Kai Galligan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Eliss made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Gwyr Henley charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwyr Henley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gwyr Henley kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Neath FC booed when UWA Talgarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merlin Catley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neath FC's Taffy Follet couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UWA Talgarth. Brian Eliss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kai Galligan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Eliss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Parry Burdick, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Gwyr Henley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwyr Henley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pryderi Keller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Neath FC booed when UWA Talgarth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyr Henley didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Parry Burdick in the 93rd minute of play forced UWA Talgarth's goalkeeper Brian Eliss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Eliss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parry Burdick in the 97th minute of the match. Neath FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
