To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colwyn Bay FC's Iddawg Gooch got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gruddyeu Bonds kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Griflet Finan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trahern Finneran in the 42nd minute of play forced Baglan FC's goalkeeper Alawn Teamster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
