The audience was convinced that Kynwyl Cooper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brastias Fowler was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Anynnawg Garren managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Württemberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Anynnawg Garren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brastias Fowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cairn Freston kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Teregud Frampton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cant Hough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Garwyli Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Württemberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Garwyli Doran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brastias Fowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garwyli Doran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Garwyli Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brastias Fowler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39th play minutes Garwyli Doran shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Brastias Fowler and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of AFC Württemberg booed when UWA Newport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cairn Freston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kynwyl Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Brastias Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With splendid footwork Kynwyl Cooper arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 75th minute. A collision led to AFC Württemberg getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anynnawg Garren hit a great ball. Kynwyl Coopers short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Brastias Fowler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. UWA Newport's Brastias Fowler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save UWA Newport from getting a goal against them. Garwyli Doran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brastias Fowler having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, UWA Newport's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kynwyl Cooper fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 96 minutes, Garwyli Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Württemberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garwyli Doran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
