Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mostyn Alden started the match with the kick off. Pwyll Ludden made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Gwawl Adams sent off a good shot on target. Gwawl Adams hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mostyn Alden in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evan Lydiican prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Mostyn Alden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skewen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Gwawl Adams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Montgomery Utd got a freekick which was hit by Dalldav Farmer. In the 31st minute, Gwawl Adams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Gandwy Gaoler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nerth Currin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Lydiican having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Dalldav Farmer made the kick off in the second half. Ofydd Dungan hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Anwar Donovan took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pwyll Ludden. Pwyll Ludden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 60 minutes into the match, Montgomery Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Pelles Hinton came free, but Evan Lydiican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Mostyn Alden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skewen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Anwar Donovan charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anwar Donovan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teithi Lay during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pelles Hinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Mostyn Alden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skewen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mostyn Alden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pwyll Ludden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalldav Farmer in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Skewen got a freekick which was hit by Anwir Gibson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerth Currin in the 83rd minute of play forced Montgomery Utd's goalkeeper Evan Lydiican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Skewen's Nerth Currin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evan Lydiican. Evan Lydiican yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. After 88 played minutes Montgomery Utd got a freekick which was hit by Druce Larkin. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Pelles Hinton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skewen's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelles Hinton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evan Lydiican breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gwawl Adams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pwyll Ludden having to interfere. In the 95th minute Nerth Currin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evan Lydiican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skewen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
