Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Skewen's Mostyn Alden started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pwyll Ludden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lleu Gain in the 2nd minute of play. Pwyll Ludden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cadman Brandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Lleu Gain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pwyll Ludden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Caledvwich Leather shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pwyll Ludden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Anwir Gibson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mostyn Alden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lleu Gain in the 21st minute of play forced Skewen's goalkeeper Pwyll Ludden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pwyll Ludden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lleu Gain, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Pwyll Ludden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caledvwich Leather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Skewen got a freekick which was hit by Mostyn Alden. Flint's Lleu Gain got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pwyll Ludden came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Flint's Lleu Gain. But to his dismay, Lleu Gain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Lleu Gain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flint fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 42nd minute Lleu Gain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pwyll Ludden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Flint were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lleu Gain made the kick off in the second half. When Flint's Lleu Gain in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skewen's goalie prevented a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Skewen's goalkeeper Pwyll Ludden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caledvwich Leather. Skewen's Pwyll Ludden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Skewen from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Nerth Currin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naw Neatherder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caledvwich Folk charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caledvwich Folk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Flint's Caledvwich Folk got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Idris Gwinn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Flint's Naw Neatherder didn't even have to move. Nerth Currin scored 1-4 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naw Neatherder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flint's Naw Neatherder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mostyn Alden in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Flint defense, Mostyn Alden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naw Neatherder. The Flint fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naw Neatherder should have stopped the shot. Pwyll Ludden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cadman Brandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Skewen getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nerth Currin hit a great ball. The Flint supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Flint would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
