The referee ignored Prestatyn's protests and gave Timotheus Blacksmith a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th match minute, Prestatyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timotheus Blacksmith to maneuver through the defense. When Kilydd Cranston fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barry Athletic CF's protests and gave Kilydd Cranston a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barry Athletic CF's Kilydd Cranston got a free kick in the 13th minute. Glew Epps hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cant Herbert kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Govynyon Catley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cant Cockwell. That made the score 2-1 in the 19 minute of play. Naw Henson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Fercos Criddle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prestatyn. With his leg Cant Cockwell managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Barry Athletic CF's Kilydd Cranston fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 30 minutes, Cant Herbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barry Athletic CF and the Prestatyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 31 minutes, Naw Henson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prestatyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naw Henson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fercos Criddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naw Henson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naw Henson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fercos Criddle having to make a save. Fercos Criddle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Drew French, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Fercos Criddle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, Naw Henson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fercos Criddle. Barry Athletic CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Naw Henson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Fercos Criddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew French, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Drew French shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fercos Criddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Barry Athletic CF's goalkeeper Fercos Criddle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aberthol Fitzgerald. Teregud Green kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Barry Athletic CF's goal looked a bit too open when Drew French came free, but Fercos Criddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drew French received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fercos Criddle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kilydd Cranston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barry Athletic CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kilydd Cranston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cant Cockwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Timotheus Blacksmith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Prestatyn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barry Athletic CF.
