Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mostyn Alden started the match with the kick off. Pelles Hinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nerth Currin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwell Dillon having to interfere. Anwell Dillon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mostyn Alden in the 9th minute of play. After 9 minutes of play, Skewen's Nerth Currin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anwell Dillon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gwevyl Dulleran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pwyll Ludden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nerth Currin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Skewen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nerth Currin couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Gwevyl Dulleran notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Skewen's Pwyll Ludden. Pwyll Ludden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mostyn Alden in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anwell Dillon saved Bridgend from getting behind. Mostyn Alden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nerth Currin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Anwell Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Bridgend's goal looked a bit too open when Idris Gwinn came free, but Anwell Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anwell Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nerth Currin in the 46th minute of the match. The Bridgend players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skewen were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Collen Gordon was the one to do the kick off. Idris Gwinn kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Pwyll Ludden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Collen Gordon in the 53rd minute of play. Bridgend's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nerth Currin 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. If Nerth Currin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Mostyn Alden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skewen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mostyn Alden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Oswallt Hawke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pwyll Ludden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nerth Currin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anwell Dillon having to interfere. Nerth Currin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Bridgend's goalkeeper Anwell Dillon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mostyn Alden. Anwell Dillon made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Mostyn Alden sent off a good shot on target. Mostyn Alden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anwell Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nerth Currin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
