Llangollen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trelew Land the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Llangollen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwythyr Hitchins to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Caerwyn Griffith managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Trelew Land's Merlin Godwin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nerth Shrieve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Caerwyn Griffith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merlin Godwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Merlin Godwin could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Caerwyn Griffith however easily saved by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Caerwyn Griffith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merlin Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Merlin Godwin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caerwyn Griffith. Llangollen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Merlin Godwin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Godwin in the 63rd minute of play forced Llangollen FC's goalkeeper Caerwyn Griffith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merlin Godwin in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caerwyn Griffith saved Llangollen FC from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Merlin Godwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iona Kevin's late challenge caught a Trelew Land's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iona Kevin helped the player get up and apologised. Caerwyn Griffith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Godwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Llangollen FC's Caerwyn Griffith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lot Hillard in the 84th minute of play. When Trelew Land's Lot Hillard in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Llangollen FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gwythyr Hitchins hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
