Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Merlin Godwin kicked off to start the match. Evan Lyons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aeddan Boren in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute Sion Farran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evan Lyons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sion Farran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Evan Lyons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Merlin Godwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwydre Kern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aeddan Boren took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evan Lyons. Evan Lyons dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice moves Aeddan Boren could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Evan Lyons however easily saved by the left post. After 22 played minutes Trelew Land got a freekick which was hit by Kenyon Gettins. Evan Lyons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sion Farran in the 23rd minute of the match. Gwydre Kern showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lot Hillard in the 27th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Montgomery's Taffy Farran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evan Lyons narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gwydre Kern showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merlin Godwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sion Farran in the 42nd minute of play forced Trelew Land's goalkeeper Evan Lyons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Montgomery's goal looked a bit too open when Lot Hillard came free, but Gwydre Kern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montgomery's Gwydre Kern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Godwin in the 44th minute of play. Aeddan Boren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evan Lyons having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sion Farran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taffy Farran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Lyons having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Merlin Godwin could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Gwydre Kern however easily saved by the left post. Gwydre Kern made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merlin Godwin in the 73rd minute. If Lot Hillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedr Kirkpatrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gwydre Kern made a huge save. With a little luck, Montgomery's Gwydre Kern got control of the ball when Merlin Godwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bran Hutton fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montgomery's protests and gave Bran Hutton a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Trelew Land defense, Aeddan Boren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evan Lyons. The Trelew Land fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evan Lyons should have stopped the shot. Many of Trelew Land's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Trelew Land may have spent more time on the ball, but Montgomery were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
