Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andras Leek kicked off to start the match. Andras Leek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Trefor John came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Denbigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trefor John couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Cadellin Finlay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hydd Dancer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ifor Wainwright in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Cadellin Finlay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Talgarth got a freekick which was hit by Andras Leek. Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ifor Wainwright in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Denbigh got a freekick which was hit by Trefor John. Trefor John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ifor Wainwright in the 38th minute of play forced Talgarth's goalkeeper Rhys Wharfinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talgarth's Andras Leek got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rhys Wharfinger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ifor Wainwright in the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Talgarth's goalkeeper Rhys Wharfinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trefor John. The crowd rose to their feet as Ifor Wainwright kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rhys Wharfinger. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ifor Wainwright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rhys Wharfinger came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Denbigh's Trefor John. But to his dismay, Trefor John quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Trefor John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andras Leek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hydd Dancer having to interfere. Denbigh's Hydd Dancer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andras Leek in the 77th minute of play. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ifor Wainwright sped through Talgarth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rhys Wharfinger. With a little luck, Denbigh's Hydd Dancer got control of the ball when Cadellin Finlay tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Denbigh's Cadeyrn Ammons got a free kick in the 85th minute. Talgarth were furious when Mordwywr Bowden was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 92 minutes into the game, one of Talgarth:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rhys Wharfinger had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Ifor Wainwright's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Talgarth's Rhys Wharfinger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pellyn Lindsey in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Denbigh had won after a very even match.
