After 12 played minutes FC TYPHOON ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Hägglund. When Goronwy Tanner fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aberystwyth's protests and gave Goronwy Tanner a yellow card for diving instead. Goronwy Tanner hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Padrig Kirk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudur Keating having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aberystwyth's Myrddin Chandler got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gruffen Greene stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Malcolm Hägglund's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. The supporters of FC TYPHOON ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ booed when Aberystwyth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelles Crease didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tudur Keating came out of the goal and Padrig Kirk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC TYPHOON ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ's Tudur Keating proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save FC TYPHOON ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ from getting a goal against them. Gobrwy Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 78th minute, Pelles Crease ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tudur Keating was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Robert Carlos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gruffen Greene having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, FC TYPHOON ᴱᴸᴵᵀᴱ's goal looked a bit too open when Padrig Kirk came free, but Tudur Keating reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tudur Keating didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Padrig Kirk went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Aberystwyth walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
