The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gruffen Greene made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Addolgar Delany in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Addolgar Delany in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gruffen Greene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Addolgar Delany in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gruffen Greene saved Aberystwyth from getting behind. Gruffen Greene didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eryi Jenkins went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The corner ended in Myrddin Chandler almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chepstow's Aneirin Hubbard did a great save. Aneirin Hubbard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Padrig Kirk in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Chepstow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Addolgar Delany to maneuver through the defense. Aneirin Hubbard was a little too slow when Padrig Kirk got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-1. Kynwal Boggs kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Aneirin Hubbard was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Myrddin Chandler. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gobrwy Bernard got free with Aneirin Hubbard in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gruffen Greene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Addolgar Delany in the 43rd minute of the match. Tad Lavery's late challenge caught a Chepstow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tad Lavery helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Aberystwyth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tad Lavery to maneuver through the defense.

Gruffen Greene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Addolgar Delany in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Aberystwyth's Tad Lavery seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tad Lavery the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Aberystwyth protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tad Lavery had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aberystwyth! In the 61st minute of the match, Eryi Jenkins got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gruffen Greene was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Addolgar Delany in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gruffen Greene saved Aberystwyth from getting behind. Aneirin Hubbard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gobrwy Bernard in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Gruffen Greene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eryi Jenkins. In the 68th minute Addolgar Delany shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gruffen Greene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gobrwy Bernard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aneirin Hubbard was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Addolgar Delany kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Aneirin Hubbard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gobrwy Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Aberystwyth's Gobrwy Bernard got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eryi Jenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Gobrwy Bernard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aberystwyth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chepstow the free kick. In the 87th minute, Gobrwy Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Gobrwy Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aneirin Hubbard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Gruffen Greene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eryi Jenkins. Addolgar Delany hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aberystwyth's goalkeeper Gruffen Greene, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chepstow walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
