Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sugyn Collier got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collen Forsyth in the 5th minute of play forced Bridgend's goalkeeper Brad Kilpatrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bridgend! Brad Kilpatrick came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Neath's Tremayne Lamph. But to his dismay, Tremayne Lamph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute, Sugyn Collier fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mabon Keelan, passed just outside the right post. Sinnoch Colporteur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mabon Keelan came out and tried to block the shot, but Sinnoch Colporteur slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. In the 28th minute, Sugyn Collier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mabon Keelan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Sugyn Collier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brad Kilpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Collen Forsyth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bridgend's Brad Kilpatrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sayer Hitchcock in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Collen Forsyth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brad Kilpatrick was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sugyn Collier in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mabon Keelan saved Neath from getting behind. Bridgend's Sugyn Collier got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Collen Forsyth made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Collen Forsyth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Kilpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Neath's Sayer Hitchcock got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mabon Keelan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mael Hall's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Brad Kilpatrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Collen Forsyth in the 58th minute of play. Collen Forsyth was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sayer Hitchcock kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgend's zone, Rhett Berry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brad Kilpatrick came out of the goal and Rhett Berry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bridgend's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Heilyn Holcomb scored to the left of an out of position Brad Kilpatrick, making the score, 2-3. Brad Kilpatrick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rhett Berry in the 81st minute. Mabon Keelan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sugyn Collier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Mael Hall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Neath's Mabon Keelan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 minutes, Sinnoch Colporteur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bridgend and the Neath players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sinnoch Colporteur hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Mael Hall. A collision led to Neath getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Sayer Hitchcock hit a great ball.
