Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Calder Laing started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Skewen's Garselid Carver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Skewen from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Brastias Fishman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardiff's goalkeeper Bwlch Thatcher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teregud Brien in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garselid Carver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute Calder Laing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bwlch Thatcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waljan Eckles scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bwlch Thatcher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Deiniol Hinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Garselid Carver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ren Elias hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Deiniol Hinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garselid Carver having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teregud Brien in the 39th minute of play forced Skewen's goalkeeper Garselid Carver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Teregud Brien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cardiff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teregud Brien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, Skewen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teregud Brien fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teregud Brien stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Skewen's Ren Elias got a free kick in the 51st minute. Anfri Howe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 59 minutes into the match. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cardiff! Cardiff:s Bwlch Thatcher showed great skill when he stopped Maddock Heany:s penalty. Taffy Gladwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bwlch Thatcher having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff's zone, Taffy Gladwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bwlch Thatcher came out of the goal and Taffy Gladwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Calder Laing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bwlch Thatcher. The goal made the score 0-2. Bwlch Thatcher made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Waljan Eckles sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Cedric Diamond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Skewen's Calder Laing slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bwlch Thatcher. That made the score 0-3 after 86 minutes of play. In the 91st minute, Ren Elias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skewen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Skewen's Garselid Carver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teregud Brien in the 97th minute of play. Ren Elias charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ren Elias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
