Madoc Halton kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Bleddyn Colporteur's late challenge caught a UWA Haverfordwest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bleddyn Colporteur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of UWA Haverfordwest booed when Rhonnda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bleddyn Colporteur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rhonnda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Griffith Case was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Griffith Case mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhonnda and the UWA Haverfordwest players grew even worse after the yellow card. Griffith Case hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Clyde Lattimore's late challenge caught a Rhonnda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 89 played minutes, UWA Haverfordwest's Aglovale Bellew shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taffy Finn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UWA Haverfordwest reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as UWA Haverfordwest's Llyn Featherston slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Taffy Finn. That made the score 2-4 after 90 minutes of play. Bors Allard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madoc Halton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
