The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nodens Gilliam hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Dalldav Collis, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mael Hall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mael Hall might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siawn Bartells. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mael Hall ran back to his position shaking his head. After 28 minutes of play, inter Cardiff's Selyv Hacker made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brad Kilpatrick was left in no man's land by his defense there! The inter Cardiff fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when inter Cardiff's Selyv Hacker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute, Selyv Hacker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The inter Cardiff fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Siawn Bartells made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mael Hall in the 39th minute. In the 39th match minute, inter Cardiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirmyg Bray to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the game, Mael Hall recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Siawn Bartells. Mael Hall showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sugyn Collier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Sugyn Collier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siawn Bartells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siawn Bartells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinnoch Colporteur in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half inter Cardiff were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sugyn Collier made a kick off. Siawn Bartells showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mael Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Dalldav Collis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mael Hall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Siawn Bartells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, inter Cardiff's Collen Forbes got a free kick in the 67th minute. Siawn Bartells showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugyn Collier, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Mael Hall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siawn Bartells having to interfere. Melkin Larkin charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melkin Larkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Bridgend got a freekick which was hit by Melkin Larkin. Selyv Hacker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brad Kilpatrick having to make a save. Siawn Bartells took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mael Hall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Dalldav Collis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siawn Bartells saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rhett Bingley during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Rhett Bingley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Collen Forbes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Dalldav Collis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siawn Bartells having to interfere.
