Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barris Kerrin started the match with the kick off. Gwern Chaisemaker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mael Hall in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Sinnoch Colporteur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwern Chaisemaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Knighton's Gwern Chaisemaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalldav Collis in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Rhyd Folk took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Brad Kilpatrick to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalldav Collis in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwern Chaisemaker saved Knighton from getting behind. In the 21st minute Sugyn Collier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwern Chaisemaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwern Chaisemaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mael Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Knighton's goal looked a bit too open when Dalldav Collis came free, but Gwern Chaisemaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwern Chaisemaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sinnoch Colporteur, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mael Hall scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwern Chaisemaker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sugyn Collier to make the kick off. Gwern Chaisemaker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalldav Collis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Sugyn Collier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bridgend's supporters rose to their feet, but Sugyn Collier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwern Chaisemaker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bridgend's Mael Hall got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mael Hall was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Bridgend's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mael Hall during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bridgend's Mael Hall got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Sugyn Collier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gwern Chaisemaker, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sugyn Collier in the 68th minute of play forced Knighton's goalkeeper Gwern Chaisemaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwern Chaisemaker came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Bridgend's Mael Hall. But to his dismay, Mael Hall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. A collision led to Knighton getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Beven Higgin hit a great ball. Mael Hall took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gwern Chaisemaker. Gwern Chaisemaker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Dalldav Collis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Gwern Chaisemaker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brad Kilpatrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barris Kerrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dalldav Collis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bridgend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalldav Collis couldn't finish the play. Mael Hall struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gwern Chaisemaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bridgend. Mael Hall hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Bridgend played a much better game than Knighton and deserved their victory. The Knighton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
