Pembroke Fitzroy took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bwlch Thatcher. Bwlch Thatcher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bwlch Thatcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Alex, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Cardiff's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Mălăncioiu came free, but Bwlch Thatcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pembroke Fitzroy managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLAS FC - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Pembroke Fitzroy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bwlch Thatcher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Eugen Alex cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bwlch Thatcher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Alex in the 45th minute of play forced Cardiff's goalkeeper Bwlch Thatcher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bwlch Thatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Mălăncioiu in the 46th minute of play.

Cardiff's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eugen Alex 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. In the 67th minute, Moise Mălăncioiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bwlch Thatcher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. ATLAS FC - FDFDF played a much better game than Cardiff and deserved their victory. The Cardiff players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
