Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugen Alex started the match with the kick off. Dywel Keaty hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Knighton's Barris Kerrin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Baumar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugen Alex scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwern Chaisemaker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Alex in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwern Chaisemaker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 minutes of play, Knighton's Rhyd Folk made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Baumar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 32 minutes, Barris Kerrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barris Kerrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eudav Hadley hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Gwern Chaisemaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Mălăncioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Knighton's Gwern Chaisemaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Alex in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute Percival Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwern Chaisemaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Moise Mălăncioiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Mălăncioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gwern Chaisemaker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pembroke Fitzroy came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ATLAS FC - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pembroke Fitzroy couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barris Kerrin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Alex in the 54th minute of play forced Knighton's goalkeeper Gwern Chaisemaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Percival Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATLAS FC - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Knighton's goalkeeper Gwern Chaisemaker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moise Mălăncioiu. In the 68thth minute of the game Eugen Alex who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knighton's Gwern Chaisemaker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Moise Mălăncioiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gwern Chaisemaker. Moise Mălăncioiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Gwern Chaisemaker was a little too slow when Eugen Alex got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-4. After some careless play in the Knighton defense, Moise Mălăncioiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwern Chaisemaker. The Knighton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwern Chaisemaker should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Drwst Hind managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLAS FC - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Drwst Hind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwern Chaisemaker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Alex got free with Gwern Chaisemaker in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eugen Alex had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Moise Mălăncioiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Gwern Chaisemaker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eugen Alex scored 1-7 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gwern Chaisemaker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Mălăncioiu got free with Gwern Chaisemaker in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
