Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Clud Lodder took the kick off in the first half of the match. Price Inge struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Aedd Boham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rhonnda. 12 minutes into the match, Presteigne's goal looked a bit too open when Griffith Case came free, but Aedd Boham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Price Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Clud Lodder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taffy Finn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Presteigne got a freekick which was hit by Goronwy Colthar. Price Inge, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Bleddyn Colporteur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clud Lodders short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Taffy Finn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Presteigne's Clud Lodder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Taffy Finn. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. Griffith Case fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aedd Boham having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Griffith Case stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Griffith Case could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Aedd Boham made a huge save. Griffith Case fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aedd Boham having to interfere. Aedd Boham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Griffith Case in the 56th minute of play. Griffith Case received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aedd Boham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Griffith Case recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes, Price Inge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rhonnda and the Presteigne players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Presteigne booed when Rhonnda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Price Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, Rhonnda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maelgwn Collier to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Yale Elcombe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Presteigne booed when Rhonnda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madoc Halton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rhonnda's Maelgwn Collier got a free kick in the 78th minute. Aeddan Saddler kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Aeddan Saddler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Taffy Finn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Clud Lodder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Presteigne's supporters rose to their feet, but Clud Lodder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taffy Finn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Madoc Halton hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Taffy Finn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clud Lodder in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Clud Lodder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rhonnda's Taffy Finn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Many of Rhonnda's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Rhonnda may have spent more time on the ball, but Presteigne were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
