Bwlch Thatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalldav Collis in the 4th minute of play. If Mael Hall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dillus Johnson's late challenge caught a Bridgend's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dillus Johnson helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Cardiff's Bwlch Thatcher got control of the ball when Dalldav Collis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cardiff booed when Bridgend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalldav Collis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Deiniol Hinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad Kilpatrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brad Kilpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedric Diamond in the 24th minute of the match. Bwlch Thatcher was a little too slow when Dalldav Collis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Mael Hall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bridgend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mael Hall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sinnoch Colporteur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bwlch Thatcher. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Cardiff's goal looked a bit too open when Sugyn Collier came free, but Bwlch Thatcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Bridgend was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kane Lett to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Brad Kilpatrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teregud Brien, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bwlch Thatcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalldav Collis in the 54th minute of play. Brad Kilpatrick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teregud Brien in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Bridgend's Dalldav Collis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bwlch Thatcher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 67th minute Sugyn Collier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bwlch Thatcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cardiff defense, Dalldav Collis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bwlch Thatcher. The Cardiff fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bwlch Thatcher should have stopped the shot. Bwlch Thatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinnoch Colporteur in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cardiff's zone, Dalldav Collis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bwlch Thatcher came out of the goal and Dalldav Collis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Mael Hall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bwlch Thatcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bridgend's Dalldav Collis in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cardiff's goalie prevented a goal. After 81 minutes of play, Bridgend's Mael Hall made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bwlch Thatcher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cardiff's Bwlch Thatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mael Hall in the 89th minute of play. Bwlch Thatcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinnoch Colporteur in the 90th minute of the match. Cardiff's Bwlch Thatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalldav Collis in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Bridgend's Sugyn Collier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bwlch Thatcher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bwlch Thatcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalldav Collis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Bridgend players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
