Gwydion Gain made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Waljan Faulkner sent off a good shot on target. When Angawdd Brightsmith fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polish Skets's protests and gave Angawdd Brightsmith a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Polish Skets got a freekick which was hit by Angawdd Brightsmith. Gwallter Porter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cadoc Muleskinner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Waljan Faulkner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gwydion Gain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ol Compton in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cadoc Muleskinner in the 17th minute of play forced Polish Skets's goalkeeper Gwallter Porter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Cadoc Muleskinner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmarthen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cadoc Muleskinner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Carmarthen booed when Polish Skets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angawdd Brightsmith didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Polish Skets's zone, Colwyn Loody stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwallter Porter came out of the goal and Colwyn Loody tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Gwydion Luce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polish Skets's Gwallter Porter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gwydion Gain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryn Lewis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Colwyn Loody's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gwallter Porter was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carnedyr Connery in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gwallter Porter saved Polish Skets from getting behind. In the 39th match minute, Polish Skets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryn Lewis to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Polish Skets got a freekick which was hit by Ol Compton. After 42 played minutes Polish Skets got a freekick which was hit by Bryn Lewis. Carnedyr Connery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwallter Porter having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ol Compton was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Carmarthen booed when Polish Skets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angawdd Brightsmith didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwallter Porter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carnedyr Connery in the 53rd minute of the match. Carnedyr Connery struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gwallter Porter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmarthen. After a rather tough play, Carmarthen's Gwydion Luce got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gwallter Porter was a little too slow when Gwydion Luce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 61st minute, Carnedyr Connery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Gwallter Porter managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Carmarthen's Carnedyr Connery fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 66 minutes into the match, Cadoc Muleskinner notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Polish Skets's Gwallter Porter. Gwallter Porter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carmarthen's Colwyn Loody got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Polish Skets's Gwallter Porter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carnedyr Connery in the 75th minute of play. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polish Skets! Gwydion Luce struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Gwallter Porter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmarthen. In the 84th minute, one of Carmarthen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carmarthen. Gwydion Luce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Colwyn Loody had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gwallter Porter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Carmarthen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
