After 2 minutes, Adel Trabelsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Accrington and the Bourne players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Hamed Basli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hamed Basli came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Accrington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamed Basli couldn't finish the play. Hamed Basli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oussama Ben Nacef came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Bourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oussama Ben Nacef couldn't finish the play.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oussama Ben Nacef made a kick off. If Taieb Limam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hamed Basli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Rachid Melki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mohamed Saïdi.
