Hassen Sellami kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Thamesmead FC's Mohamed Majeri got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ali Ghariani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Radhi Haggui was shown his second yellow card after 34 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th minute, Radhi Haggui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thamesmead FC's Zied Sellimi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Woolwich. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Karim Merdassi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Woolwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Karim Merdassi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mondher Benachour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Ghariani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mondher Benachour having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Thamesmead FC's Abdallah Beya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mohamed Haj Kacem. Mohamed Haj Kacem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ali Ghariani made the kick off in the second half. When Mohamed Majeri came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Thamesmead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Majeri couldn't finish the play. Ali Ghariani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mondher Benachour read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Abdallah Beya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Haj Kacem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Karim Chatti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdallah Beya 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mohamed Haj Kacem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Thamesmead FC's Abdallah Beya got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
