Habib Abdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halifax's Habib Abdi managed to work through Maldon's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Habib Abdi dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Halifax's Riadh Ghannem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Najeh Radhouani in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Halifax's Salah Sassi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Halifax's Riadh Ghannem got control of the ball when Néji Saada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riadh Ghannem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Najeh Radhouani in the 29th minute of play. A hard shot 30 in the game by Néji Saada from a close distance when the talented Riadh Ghannem managed to make a qualified save. Halifax's players were relieved. Hassib Essediri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Abdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Halifax booed when Maldon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayèche Ben Tlatli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Néji Saada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Néji Saadas short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Riadh Ghannem to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

Hassib Essediri made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hédi Ghodhbane sent off a good shot on target. Maldon's Néji Saada got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Hédi Ghodhbane got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hassib Essediri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adel Kadri charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adel Kadri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adel Kadri kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Maldon's Néji Saada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Riadh Ghannem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamed Sellimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Riadh Ghannem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Hédi Ghodhbane ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hassib Essediri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Néji Saada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Riadh Ghannem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Halifax eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
