Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Witney FC's zone, Lassaad Mosrati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chaouki Ben Merdassi came out of the goal and Lassaad Mosrati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lassaad Mosrati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chaouki Ben Merdassi was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6thth minute of the game Hichem Abdelkader who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Witney FC's Chaouki Ben Merdassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Muhammad Ziadi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Cowes City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blaise Badra to maneuver through the defense. Bahi Chimane , 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hichem Abdelkader in the 36th minute of play forced Witney FC's goalkeeper Chaouki Ben Merdassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaouki Ben Merdassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hichem Abdelkader in the 38th minute of play. Cowes City's Salah Ghigani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhammad Ziadi in the 40th minute of play. Abdelaziz Zidane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Bejaoui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Salah Ghigani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hichem Abdelkader was the one to do the kick off. Lassaad Mosrati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karim Karoui hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Salah Ghigani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muhammad Ziadi in the 63rd minute of the match. Salah Ghigani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muhammad Ziadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Abdelaziz Zidane struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Salah Ghigani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Witney FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhammad Ziadi in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salah Ghigani saved Cowes City from getting behind. Salah Ghigani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelaziz Zidane in the 76th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Abdelaziz Zidane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Witney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 95 played minutes Witney FC got a freekick which was hit by Karim Karoui. Lassaad Mosrati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
