An unexpectedly hard shot by Fathi Ouertani in the 19th minute of play forced Deddington's goalkeeper Moncef Ben Nacef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moncef Ben Nacef stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Salah Haithem's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Deddington's Oussama M'ghirbi got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shuaibu Ghigani struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Abdessalem Haggui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deddington. After a defensive mix-up in Hatfield City's zone, Shuaibu Ghigani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdessalem Haggui came out of the goal and Shuaibu Ghigani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hedi Amira Sellami during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Deddington got a freekick which was hit by Hedi Amira Sellami.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fathi Ouertani to make the kick off. Deddington's Oussama M'ghirbi got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohamed Salah Haithem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oussama M'ghirbi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Abdessalem Haggui when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moncef Ben Nacef showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Haithem, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Fathi Ouertani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moncef Ben Nacef saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riadh Bourguiba hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Salah Haithem in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moncef Ben Nacef saved Deddington from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Houcine Mechergui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moncef Ben Nacef was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Hatfield City booed when Deddington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamad Jelassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mohamed Salah Haithem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deddington getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hedi Amira Sellami hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Abdelaziz Essediri put in a rough tackle. Haythem Chaar shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Hatfield City booed when Deddington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohamed Salhia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hatfield City's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
