Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hichem Khcharem started the match with the kick off. Oussama Ben Salah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hichem Khcharem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, Andover AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hedi Bourchada to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Habib Chiboub shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hatem Kadri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes of play, Sandown's Habib Chiboub made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hatem Kadri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oussama Ben Salah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hichem Khcharem in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hichem Khcharem in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oussama Ben Salah saved Sandown from getting behind. Sandown's Hamdi Adhoum got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Hichem Khcharem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandown's Oussama Ben Salah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdessalem Hadrioui in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Abdessalem Hadrioui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andover AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdessalem Hadrioui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oussama Ben Salah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Andover AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Habib Chiboub fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hichem Khcharem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Oussama Ben Salah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Chaker Ghodhbane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Andover AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Habib Chiboub came free, but Hatem Kadri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Andover AFC defense, Hamdi Adhoum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hatem Kadri. The Andover AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hatem Kadri should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Chokri Bejaoui fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andover AFC's protests and gave Chokri Bejaoui a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandown's goalkeeper Oussama Ben Salah, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Habib Chiboub struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Hatem Kadri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandown. Issam Ben Zid didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Abdessalem Hadrioui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hichem Khcharem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Andover AFC! When Hamdi Adhoum came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sandown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamdi Adhoum couldn't finish the play. Chokri Bejaoui was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 99 played minutes Andover AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chokri Bejaoui. Sandown's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
