The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Moustafa Bouchrara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Habib Miaâdi was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Ahmed Benachour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed BenAmor, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 18th minute, but Ahmed Benachour got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Hayle hanging dry this time. Ben Sallemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Habib Miaâdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Woodbridge booed when Hayle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Dermech didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Riadh Koissy notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hayle's Ahmed Benachour. Ahmed Benachour was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mohamed BenAmor struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ahmed Benachour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woodbridge. Woodbridge's Mohamed BenAmor got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Woodbridge's Riadh Koissy got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ben Sallemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Habib Miaâdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mohamed BenAmor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riadh Yahia in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmed Benachour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmed Benachour showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed BenAmor in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed BenAmor in the 58th minute of play forced Hayle's goalkeeper Ahmed Benachour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moustafa Bouchrara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Habib Miaâdi having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Riadh Koissy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute Borhene Mechergui suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Abderrahim Mnari fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hayle's protests and gave Abderrahim Mnari a yellow card for diving instead. Riadh Koissy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Moustafa Bouchrara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Miaâdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Benachour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riadh Koissy in the 73rd minute of play. If Riadh Koissy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmed Bourguiba's late challenge caught a Hayle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmed Bourguiba helped the player get up and apologised. Ibrahim Zouaoui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Habib Miaâdi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben Sallemi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Habib Miaâdi. That made the score 1-1 in the 85 minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Woodbridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riadh Yahia to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
