Zoubair Trabelsi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Said Ben Sellimi , 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 5 played minutes Kennington United got a freekick which was hit by Zoubair Trabelsi. Kennington United's Karim Saber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oussama Kefacha in the 6th minute of play. Karim Saber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oussama Kefacha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Kennington United got a freekick which was hit by Muhammad Bhar. Karim Saber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oussama Kefacha in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Oussama Kefacha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Saber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oussama Kefacha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Karim Saber 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kennington United getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Zoubair Trabelsi hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Belgacem Baya got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karim Saber was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 40 minutes into the game, Kaies Braham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finchley United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kennington United the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Finchley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaies Braham to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kennington United's Riadh Ghigani got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chaouki Ben Chedli made a kick off. Chaouki Ben Chedli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Kerrit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taieb M'henni having to interfere. A hard shot 55 in the game by Ben Kerrit from a close distance when the talented Taieb M'henni managed to make a qualified save. Finchley United's players were relieved. In the 58th minute Chaouki Ben Chedli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taieb M'henni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Najeh Braham thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Taieb M'henni, a very annoying self made goal in the 59th minute which led to 1-1. If Chaouki Ben Chedli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaouki Ben Chedli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Taieb M'henni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oussama Kefacha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Karim Saber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
