But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maher Gharbi couldn't finish the play. Hayle's Ahmed Benachour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maher Gharbi in the 6th minute of play. Habib Nefzi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Hayle's goal looked a bit too open when Maher Gharbi came free, but Ahmed Benachour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Haworth getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mehdi Bouazizi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hayle's zone, Habib Nafti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmed Benachour came out of the goal and Habib Nafti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Haworth booed when Hayle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Habib Jaziri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Hayle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibrahim Zouaoui to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Maher Gharbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Maher Gharbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmed Benachour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hayle's Ahmed Benachour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maher Gharbi in the 43rd minute of play. If Habib Nafti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maher Gharbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 54 minutes, Habib Nafti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haworth's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Nafti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmed Benachour was a little too slow when Habib Nafti got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Moustafa Bouchrara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Sallemi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Habib Nefzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hayle. 1-2 became the score in the 65th minute when Habib Nafti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Hamed Gmamdia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haworth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hayle the free kick. The supporters of Hayle booed when Haworth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamed Gmamdia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Ben Sallemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maher Gharbi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ahmed Benachour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, Haworth's Habib Nafti made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmed Benachour was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Habib Nafti made a precise shot to the right of Ahmed Benachour. Hayle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 89 minutes into the match, Hayle's Moustafa Bouchrara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Habib Nefzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Habib Nafti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Haworth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
