After 29 minutes, Zoubeir Litaiem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertford City and the Bentworth City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Hertford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoubeir Litaiem to maneuver through the defense. Slaheddine Abdeljilil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Bentworth City booed when Hertford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoubeir Litaiem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Decastel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Nouira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Karim Nouira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertford City's Mustafa Decastel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Hamdi Ben Doulet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bentworth City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamdi Ben Doulet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tahar Ben Khaled had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karim Nouira made a kick off. Ahmed Akid might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radhi Limam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmed Akid ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute Hamdi Ben Doulet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Decastel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmed Akid charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmed Akid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Hertford City got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Akid. Hertford City's Mustafa Decastel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karim Nouira in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Hamdi Ben Doulet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Decastel. Hertford City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hamdi Ben Doulet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Adel BenAmor struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mustafa Decastel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bentworth City. Bentworth City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
