After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Yassine Bejaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dedham United's supporters rose to their feet, but Yassine Bejaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kais Abdelkader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yassine Bejaoui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Kais Abdelkader skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute of the match Ismail Kadri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zoubair Yahia skillfully saved the ball. Zoubair Yahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim M'hadhebi in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Ahmed Amri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wheaton Aston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Amri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Karim M'hadhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedham United's Yassine Bejaoui got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yassine Bejaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kais Abdelkader having to interfere. If Karim M'hadhebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmed Amri came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Wheaton Aston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Amri couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karim M'hadhebi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Hamdi Bourguiba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kais Abdelkader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yassine Bejaoui in the 62nd minute of play forced Wheaton Aston's goalkeeper Kais Abdelkader to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoubair Yahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim M'hadhebi in the 67th minute of the match. Ahmed Amri might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zoubair Yahia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmed Amri ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Dedham United booed when Wheaton Aston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taieb Haggui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maher Mouelhi, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal.
