Ayèche Makni hit a great ball. Lassaad Souissi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zoubair Yahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassen Agrebi in the 21st minute of the match. If Yassine Bejaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Thabet hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thornbury FC's Lassaad Souissi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lassaad Souissi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar in the 39th minute of play. Yassine Bejaoui struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Lassaad Souissi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dedham United. 47 minutes into the game, Dhaker Agrebi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thornbury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dedham United the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Thornbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhaker Agrebi to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yassine Bejaoui to make the kick off. Zoubair Yahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatah Tlili in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd play minute Yassine Bejaoui came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lassaad Souissi. 0-1. Hassen Agrebi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Yassine Bejaoui fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 84th minute, Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th match minute, Thornbury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhaker Agrebi to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Yassine Bejaoui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lassaad Souissi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lassaad Souissi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 92 in the game by Mohamed Salah Ben Sfar from a close distance when the talented Lassaad Souissi managed to make a qualified save. Thornbury FC's players were relieved.
