FC Ariana's Chems Ghodhbane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassene Rehouma in the 3rd minute of play. Belgacem Bey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FC Ariana's Chems Ghodhbane got control of the ball when Mohamed Clayton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Ariana's Hamed ibn Ali got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wheaton Aston's Mohamed Clayton fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ariana's goalkeeper Chems Ghodhbane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anis Sellami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belgacem Bey, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 16th minute, Khaled Bensedrine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anis Sellami was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mehdi Mestiri kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Wheaton Aston's Anis Sellami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belgacem Bey in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Belgacem Bey managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ariana's supporters rose to their feet, but Belgacem Bey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anis Sellami breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khaled Bensedrine in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anis Sellami saved Wheaton Aston from getting behind. If Mohamed Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Hamed ibn Ali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anis Sellami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belgacem Bey in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to FC Ariana getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Selim Ben Amor hit a great ball. Mohamed Clayton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chems Ghodhbane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hassene Rehouma, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The Wheaton Aston players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ariana were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hassene Rehouma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chems Ghodhbane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassene Rehouma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hassene Rehouma in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chems Ghodhbane saved FC Ariana from getting behind. Wheaton Aston's Hassene Rehouma got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Khaled Bensedrine scored 0-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anis Sellami, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anis Sellami showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belgacem Bey in the 68th minute of the match. Hassene Rehouma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Chems Ghodhbane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anis Sellami made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Khaled Bensedrine sent off a good shot on target. Chems Ghodhbane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Clayton in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wheaton Aston's goalkeeper Anis Sellami, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mohamed Clayton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Chems Ghodhbane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hassene Rehouma in the 88th minute of play forced FC Ariana's goalkeeper Chems Ghodhbane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wheaton Aston's zone, Belgacem Bey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anis Sellami came out of the goal and Belgacem Bey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Khaled Bensedrine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anis Sellami having to interfere. Mohamed Clayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chems Ghodhbane having to interfere. FC Ariana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
