Stannington United's Ibrahim Belgacem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Mrabet in the 38th minute of play. Thatto Heath's Chaker Bourguiba got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Stannington United's Chokri Makni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Abdelaziz Slimane came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Stannington United's Hamdi Jelassi. But to his dismay, Hamdi Jelassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 64 minutes into the match, Thatto Heath's goal looked a bit too open when Chokri Makni came free, but Abdelaziz Slimane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibrahim Belgacem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khaled Mrabet in the 73rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stannington United had played much better football throughout.
