Ahmed Achab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Taieb Nefzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamel Guelbi in the 10th minute of play forced Milton's goalkeeper Taieb Nefzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jamel Guelbi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Taieb Nefzi was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Rachid Bargawi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehdi Herguel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Ahmed Achab scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Taieb Nefzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, Milton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Mellouli to maneuver through the defense. Hassene Nafti didn't quite understand what happened when in the 35 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamel Guelbi made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Ahmed Achab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute Jamel Guelbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taieb Nefzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bechir Chikhaoui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bechir Chikhaoui's late challenge caught a Atherstone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bechir Chikhaoui helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Milton getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bechir Chikhaoui hit a great ball. When Jamel Guelbi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 62 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Taieb Nefzi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmed Achab got free with Taieb Nefzi in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hassene Nafti hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Atherstone got a freekick which was hit by Jamel Guelbi. Mehdi Herguel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jawhar Abdeljilil 's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Ahmed Achab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Taieb Nefzi made a huge save. Jamel Guelbi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jawhar Abdeljilil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mehdi Herguel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hassene Nafti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Taieb Nefzi. Milton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jamel Guelbi might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Taieb Nefzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jamel Guelbi ran back to his position shaking his head. The Atherstone players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
